Prime Internet Group offers IT infrastructure services in Long Island NY and in New Jersey. At Prime Internet Group, we understand the critical role that a robust IT infrastructure plays in the success of your business. Our comprehensive suite of IT Infrastructure services is designed to modernize your business, and ensure that your organization's technology backbone is reliable, efficient, and future-proof.
Our extensive experience allows us to undertake projects, offering a complete solution (Low Voltage Cabling, Wired and Wireless Networks, CCTV Systems, Access Control Systems, Video Intercoms, Phone Systems, Audio Video Systems) for an office, for a building, or for a complex of buildings. The end client benefits are major because they deal only with one party in most cases, the entire project becomes more cost effective and easier to manage, mistakes between improper communication and drawing changes between multiple vendors are avoided, the project deployment is seamless, and future support is optimal because there is full visibility throughout the entire infrastructure.
Improper cabling infrastructure results in several types of network and equipment issues. Slow data transfer rates, packet loss, connectivity issues, Intermittent network and internet outages, intermittent device network or power outages, computers, wireless access points, cameras, or phones losing network connection, or power, audio issues on phone calls, and dropped phone calls with VOIP, to name a few. Most traditional IT providers do not possess the engineering expertise, or tools to identify the root cause of these issues, and to resolve them. The previous result in reduced employee and business productivity, frustration, and expensive ongoing troubleshooting costs on devices experiencing issues, instead of the root cause of the problem.
Your network performance depends on the quality of the cabling. We provide copper and fiber optic cabling solutions, utilizing high quality materials, cables, jacks, and patch panels. Our team of experts specializes in low voltage design and installation, creating a solid and efficient foundation for your IT equipment while complying with building, national electrical, and fire codes. We work closely with you, your architect, interior designer, general contractor, and/or electricians, to determine your current specific and future needs, and any expansion plans in order to deliver a tailored structured cabling solutions for the long term. Our systems are designed for maximum performance, ensuring your infrastructure is ready for the demands of today and tomorrow.
Our CAT6 Fluke Certification service ensures that your structured cabling meets rigorous standards for data transmission. CAT6 certification involves testing, verifying, and certifying that your cabling infrastructure can deliver certain performance thresholds, speeds of Gigabit Ethernet or 10 Gigabit Ethernet, acceptable insertion loss levels, acceptable crosstalk levels, proper POE power delivery, and other parameters. We use state-of-the-art Calibrated Fluke Certifying equipment to assess the performance of your CAT6 cabling, providing you with a detailed report of the results.
In addition, we provide Fiber Optic Fluke Certification services, which guarantee that your fiber optic cabling is operating at its’ optimum performance level. We utilize Fluke certifying equipment to measure key parameters such as insertion loss, return loss, and overall fiber optic link performance. This ensures your network can handle high-speed data rates primarily for backbone, high throughput connections.
Based on the type of equipment a project requires (firewalls, ISP modem, Cellular modem, Switches, UPSs, PDUs, Audio Amplifiers, DSPs, Control Units, HDMI Extenders to name few) we design tailored MDF and IDF rack cabinets to house it. The rack drawings include all equipment that will be stored in each specific cabinet, labeled along with their respective U position in the cabinet. Efficiently organized rack cabinets are essential for meeting regulatory compliance, and for maintaining a clutter-free and easily manageable IT environment. We design, assemble and install rack cabinets that maximize space utilization, improve cooling, and facilitate efficient cable management.
Power management is a critical aspect of IT infrastructure. Based on the equipment housed in the cabinet we perform power calculations to determine how many AMPs are required to feed the cabinets, the type of UPSs to be used, and the approximate runtime based on load while on battery. The UPSs are network managed and monitored, they are configured to alert us on several types of events, power loss, power recovery, battery failure, abnormal utility power levels, and more. Our advanced power design and distribution solutions are ensuring that your systems receive the required power while optimizing energy efficiency, redundancy, reliability, and protecting your critical equipment.
A well-designed network is the foundation of seamless communication and data flow within and outside your organization. We provide end-to-end network design and installation services, ensuring that your network is fast, reliable, and scalable to meet your growing demands. Whether it's single site or multi-site project, a wired LAN or a wireless network, we deliver high-performance solutions that provide seamless connectivity for your users and devices.
There are several factors taken into account on a case-by-case basis when determining the type of equipment to be used, firewalls, switches, and access points. Internal parameters, building construction and material, types of celling and floors, endpoint devices, internal applications, external SaaS applications, disaster recovery services to be used, off premise backup services, and ISP options to name a few.
High Availability (HA) systems are designed to ensure the continuous operation of your critical systems and services, even in the face of hardware failures, software errors, or other unexpected disruptions. The primary goal of high availability is to minimize downtime and maintain seamless operations, ensuring that your businesses can deliver services and meet its’ commitments without interruption.
The two primary critical systems that we provide High Availability setup are the Internet Connection, and the business firewalls. Our High Availability Internet architecture is designed utilizing two separate Internet Providers to ensure uninterrupted and highly available internet connectivity. The primary internet connection is most times fiber ISP connection, and the secondary backup connection is through a cellular provider, LTE. The business firewalls connect to both upstream Internet providers, and they are configured to provide a seamless failover between the two Internet Connections in the event of any outage. Advanced monitoring and alerting profiles provide tailored notifications by SMS, email and support tickets, based on several triggers and events that are taking place. This is a crucial service allowing your business to operate while your primary internet connection is down. Servers, workstations, laptops, tablets, business phones, security systems, and other devices will be able to connect to the internet by utilizing the backup cellular connection during an outage. When the primary connection is restored, the firewalls will seamlessly start serving all devices through the primary connection, without any human interaction. Such service can prevent significant financial losses, and minimize service disruptions and downtime.
A firewall appliance failure most times results in a complete outage of the entire site, it could also affect remote employees who VPN on site, and disruption on services that are running behind the firewalls. We deploy dual redundant Firewall appliances in high availability mode to ensure high uptime, and continuous protection of the network against unauthorized access, threats, and malicious traffic. In the event of a firewall appliance failure, all devices start being served automatically from the backup firewall appliance until the primary firewall appliance is restored. Firewall high availability is critical in preventing primarily long and costly outages in the presence of hardware failures or maintenance, and also protecting the network continuously with no need of a temporary disaster recovery solution.
